Kinderdance® International Inc, a top children’s franchise in developmental dance, gymnastics, yoga and fitness programs for young children, continues to grow and expand their brand by awarding a Silver level franchise to Joyce Laoagan and Steve Leung. Together they will be teaching Kinderdance programs to children in Lower Manhattan and Long Island City, New York.

Originally from Baguio City, Philippines, Joyce started moving at an early age as a dance troupe member and an amateur dance sport performer. Joyce believes that learning is constant and continuous; currently she is studying Drama and Music at the Juilliard School in New York City. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, an MA in Music, and she consistently takes movement classes in different studios around the city.

Steve Leung is a certified MovNat level 2 instructor and has been training in parkour for the past 7 years. As the son of immigrants raised in Manhattan, Steve relied on the community around him for guidance. He hopes to empower every child with the confidence they need to overcome any challenge they will face in life. Steve and Joyce love that Kinderdance blends educational development with physical development and are looking forward to teaching Kinderdance programs to children in their community

“We are excited about Joyce and Steve joining our franchise family and look forward to seeing their business grow in the NYC area” says Kinderdance Vice President of Franchise Development, Karen Maltese.
